Pasay City, Philippines – The Central Luzon Conference (CLC) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church commenced its highly anticipated 11th Constituency Meeting today, December 11, 2025, at the Manila Adventist College Gymnasium. The two-day event, which will run until December 12, serves as a blessed assembly focused on the organization’s spiritual and administrative direction.
The atmosphere at the Manila Adventist College Gymnasium was one of organized devotion and anticipation. Demonstrating their commitment, the CLC administration, directors, associates, and office workers arrived early, following extensive preparations that ensured the venue was fully ready the night before.

A Day Dedicated to Direction for Mission
The day began early, with registration booths opening at 5:30 a.m. to warmly welcome delegates. Upon arrival, attendees were thoughtfully provided with breakfast, setting a tone of care and community. The meeting officially opened with a devotional program at exactly 8:00 a.m., reflecting the church’s tradition of placing spiritual focus at the heart of its proceedings.
Pr. Daniel Malabad, president of the Northern Luzon Philippine Union Mission, delivered the devotional message titled “Together for Mission.” He emphasized the importance of unity and integration in fulfilling God’s mission. He reminded the delegates that the church is organized for a missionary purpose and that every member, not just a select few, is called to participate. Mission, he stressed, is not merely a department or a program but the identity of the church and the purpose of every believer.
He concluded with this powerful appeal: “We can only experience the leadings and workings of God through the Holy Spirit if we commit our lives to the Lord, not for anyone’s sake but for God’s mission.”
His message highlighted the need for unity, sacrifice, and prayer in advancing God’s work. It encouraged believers to be integrated in gifts, purpose, and lifestyle, living out their faith in a way that reveals God’s love and character to the world.

Purpose of the Constituency Meeting
Held typically every five years, the Constituency Meeting is the highest governing body of the Central Luzon Conference. Delegates representing the various churches, companies, and institutions within the Conference’s expansive territory gather to:
- Receive Reports: Assess the progress of the mission across all departments since the last session.
- Elect Leaders: Choose administrators and departmental directors for the next term.
- Establish Policy: Vote on organizational policies and strategic plans that will guide the church’s work.
The 11th Constituency Meeting concludes on December 12, setting the course for the CLC’s mission and ministry for the next term. A special Constituency Sabbath will follow at the same venue, where the newly elected officers, directors, and executive committee members will publicly affirm their dedication to the organization’s mission and guiding principles.
The challenges ahead may be great, but God’s power is greater. Let us move forward, not in our own strength but in His, to serve this constituency with unwavering faithfulness, united and integrated for mission.
